Welcome to the State Ethics Commission's web-site. As the state agency responsible for enforcement of the state's ethics laws, we hope that this web site will provide public officials and public employees with the necessary tools to ensure compliance with the rules of conduct and financial, campaign, and lobbying disclosure, as well as the public and the media with the necessary information to be adequately informed.
To that end, please note the Quick Links’ addition above. The State Ethics Commission Public Disclosure and Accountability Reporting System is up and running. All elected and appointed officials, and all lobbyists and their principals are required to file all forms using the electronic filing system. If you are filing a Statement of Economic Interests as a candidate, you must file your form using the electronic filing system, print a copy, and file that paper copy with your election official at the same time you file your Statement of Intention of Candidacy.
If you are filing for the first time or have questions about filing please click on the User Guide link above. If you wish to view filings, please click on the Public Reporting link above.
We have tried to make this web site as user friendly as possible. We update our site often and welcome your comments on how we can make the information more accessible and useful to you. If we can assist you further, please contact us using the link above, or call our office at 803/253-4192.
Sincerely,
Herbert R. Hayden, Jr.
Executive Director
